The Clinic We Wished Existed

About Fluence Clinic

Fluence Clinic is a telehealth psychiatry clinic founded by Toni Esberger and Dr Manoj Ravindran, a married couple who believed ADHD and autism care should feel clearer, more respectful, and easier to move through.

From the beginning, Fluence was built around two things: careful clinical care, and a patient experience designed with neurodivergent people in mind.

Our goal is simple: to make high-quality ADHD and autism assessment and support feel clearer, more human, and easier to move through.

Why we built Fluence

In 2020, Toni tried to access an ADHD assessment in Australia. After three failed attempts with different clinics, what should have been a straightforward step towards support had become slow, confusing and discouraging.

She experienced long waits for replies to simple questions, triage processes that could take months, and excessive cancellation fees for an appointment that was still more than 12 months away.

The problem was not only the wait. It was the feeling that the process had not been built for neurodivergent people trying to use it.

At the same time, Manoj was seeing similar issues from inside psychiatry. Assessments could feel rushed, follow-up could be limited, and patients were often left without enough guidance after diagnosis.

Over dinner one night, Toni and Manoj asked a simple question: What if a clinic was actually built around the people it served?

That question became Fluence Clinic: the clinic they wished had existed.

What we set out to change

We wanted to reduce the parts of psychiatric care that often make people feel more overwhelmed before they have even reached the appointment.

For many people with ADHD or autism, the hardest parts are not only the assessment itself. It can be the uncertainty beforehand, the forms, the waiting, the pressure to remember everything on the spot, and the fear of being misunderstood.

So we built Fluence around the parts of care that are often treated as an afterthought: preparation, pacing, guidance, communication and follow-through.

Created by people who understand

Fluence has been created and shaped by neurodivergent minds, clinical experience, and ongoing patient feedback. We keep refining the journey to reduce friction, confusion and unnecessary stress wherever we can.

Designed for fluctuating energy

Our Patient Portal helps you move through each step at your own pace. You can save your progress, take breaks when needed, and return when you’re ready, without having to push through everything in one sitting.

Clear roadmaps, honest guidance

We give you a step-by-step pathway before you begin, so there is less anxiety about what comes next. If the NHS or another route is likely to suit your situation better, we will tell you upfront and signpost you.

A dedicated specialist team

You are supported by a focused clinical team, not short-term locums or outsourced care. Every doctor is a GMC Specialist Register consultant, selected for their experience in adult ADHD and autism.

Time and tools to prepare properly

We reduce session-day anxiety with built-in equipment testing, clear preparation steps, and forms that gather key information ahead of time, so there is less to remember on the spot.

Respectful of difference

We know people can feel judged for the very things they need support with, including overwhelm or task initiation. Our team and systems are built to expect difference and respond respectfully.

How that shows up in your care

A better patient experience is not just one big feature. It is the small decisions around care: what you know beforehand, how much you have to remember, whether you can pause when needed, and how clearly the next step is explained.

We pay attention to those details because they are often where stress is created or reduced.

Before your appointment

You can see what is needed, complete forms at your own pace, upload supporting documents, and test your equipment before the day, so you are not left guessing what comes next.
