Professional Biography

Tim has been working in mental health for almost 20 years and has been an NHS consultant since he completed his training in May 2014. He has worked predominantly in outpatient settings gaining extensive experience diagnosing and managing , Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia and Psychoses. He developed a special interest in helping patients with Emotionally unstable personality disorder.

It was during his first job as a consultant that he became involved with the management of ADHD amassing extensive experience while working in an NHS outpatient service which treated ADHD in a general adult psychiatric clinic. Dr Millward designed systems to allow ADHD medication titration to occur within the NICE guideline recommended timescales. Patient experience of this are reflected in his patient feedback portal.

Dr Millward is looking forward to using his experience of managing ADHD and his knowledge of UK healthcare regulation to deliver an excellent service in Fluence Clinic.
